These lines are the revolving catchphrase of the sketch "Dinner for One". The last installment of it get answered by James with "Well, I'll do my very best". Because that is accompanied by a wink and a leacherous snigger, it is widely assumed that that procedure is horizontal activity allthough him being plastered. The interesting twist is, wether and how he will playact there for the four already deceased gentlemen he had simulated as congratulating guests during the pretended birthday dinner. Further interest is the why/when/how the lads got related to Miss Sophie in such a (dissolute?) way, that they are still represented.
