Ok, so this is really an idea for a play. I am just putting it here, because I have no other format for telling people how brilliant I am. I spotted the term, Chekov's Gun, in another post, and had this Idea. As many of you know, the playwright Chekov stated that if an item, such as a gun, is included in the set, then, sometime in the play, that gun MUST be fired. Otherwise it is unneeded. So, a play. One wall of the set has LOTS of guns. Flintlocks, m16s, squirtguns, and bazookas. Other weapons as well; swords, axes, etc..
Anyway, as the play goes on, various characters take weapons down to examine them and put them back. In the final act, one character takes a weapon and uses it to ... well, from that point on, it is improv, because every night, it is a DIFFERENT actor, using a DIFFERENT weapon to do something to somebody, or something. Kind of like the different endings in CLUE. The title, or course, would be CHEKOV'S GUN.
For my next trick, I will get investors to buy 1000% of the shares in the show.
