Hello everyone. I'm looking for a story concerning time travel. It starts with a man and his fiance, visiting his mother, neither of which he really likes. He has to catch a plane and take his two dogs to a shelter because his fiance refuses to watch them. As he nears the airport, a military plane, attempting some type of experiment, explodes over him and sends him and his pickup back in time.
I don't remember the exact time period, but it was when the Spanish and English were still attempting to conquer N. America. He ends up practically uniting the tribes and starts his own empire, going as far as sailing with his fleet to London.
