Small female fiddle player stands on shoulders.

Hello again, sorry for 2 posts in a short time but I had another story I read a while ago pop into my brain and I'm looking for it.

Details I remember.

The main female is a singer, she ends up singing for a country band.

The small fiddle player is here friend from somewhere overseas I think. At one point I remember her playing on the shoulders of a man.

I believe the main femail was raped/assaulted early on in the story, got pregnant and here family disowned her.

At one point there was a kidnapping attempt on the daughter of the female.

Thanks in advance, I hope I got enough details

EDIT:

I'm clearly running low on brain power. The story I was looking for is also a part of Redemption by Shrink42 which is the story I was trying to recall yesterday.

Thanks for Looking

I think that's from one of Oyster's stories, maybe Bill and Haley

@bimunu

Thanks, but none of those look exactly right. I don't think it was part of a universe. I think it was a standalone long story

It's been a looong time since I read any of Oyster's stories as it's unlawful for me to read them ow, thanks to the idiots in parliament passing laws supporting Satanic doctrine. but I have a very strong feeling the scenes you mention are from one of the Bill and Haley stories - maybe Melodic Redemption. I know when I first read those stories, back when they were first written, they hadn't yet been combined into a Universe as he hadn't designated the universe then.

I can't legally access them now, so I can't check further and it's been several years

I know all about a VPN and sandbox operations, but the risks of the Gestapo getting a search warrant and finding anything they don't like are too high for the little enjoyment a few stories will provide. This is especially true when i don't have enough time to read my current reading list or finish what's on my works in progress list.

Would encrypting your computer help ?

as an example : (was news 1-2 years back)

Stefan Thomas, a German-born programmer in San Francisco, told The New York Times this week that he forgot the password to his IronKey, a secure hard drive with the keys to his wallet with 7,002 bitcoins, or about $220 million worth. IronKey gives users 10 guesses to get their password right before encrypting the hard drive's contents; Thomas has two more tries left.

I am not sure but I don't think it would help Ernest.

He is dealing with the government.

If they had the proper authorization they would demand

he un-encrypt the information and if he refused that

would probably cause him even more legal problems.

You may win in the final out come but the government

has deep pockets and your own tax dollars to fight you in

court.

Just my thoughts.

If you refuse to decrypt your system for the court you can be locked up for contempt of court until you agree to decrypt it or you die, whichever comes first. The other option the courts can do is assume the worst and you're guilty of the worst crime listed and give you the maximum sentence for it. They may even choose to upgrade to a higher crime and hit you with the top sentence for that as well.

Much easier and safer to give them no grounds to send the dogs in at all.

That's why I only offered it as a suggestion as I had know idea how under your laws you are protected.
