A teenager and his family are on a magical world where social status is important
His mother cheats on his father to gain better social standing. Father is a wizard and so is the teenager and his younger brother and sister. He hates his mother and runs away to go to the magic academy by himself to Learn to be a wizard. Later in the story he has become the second most powerful wizard in his country. When his family finds him again. The mother and her husband want to get closer to him to up their social status
