In the story I seek, maybe 10 years or more old, an older guy loses his wife. He needs help (I don't remember why) and a neighborhood woman offers her teen daughter to help out. Romance follows, but my memory is pretty vague about other details of the story. I'm guessing it ended with them all living happily ever after - but maybe not.
