This story is about a son who finds out his mother and sisters are submissives after the death of his father. His sisters were being trained for him and he has to step up to be the man of the house and look after his mother as well.

A 'Quick Search' (in the left sidebar of the main page) for 'Man of the house' returns eight with the phrase in the title and in the story text. One of them may be the one you remember.
Thanks Hiltonis16, I did do a search of both tags and description but neither produced the story I was thinking of. I even did a search of read stories, but I don't know if that includes stories I read before I took premium membership a few years ago.
Of course I could be remembering it wrong, or it was taken down at the request of the author.
Cheers,
Thanks joyR, I thought it was from the description, but having read the first few chapters I don't believe it is.
I seem to vaguely recall that the MC was home from college for the funeral and wasn't that young.
Thanks anyway
I thought it could be one of Ka Hmnd's stories, but looking at all titles I had stored โ about half of them via the Wayback Machine from the other site โ I didn't find one that looked promising.
"If Dad Doesn't Use it I Will" and "Family Stud" don't match the 'father dead' criteria.
HM.
Thanks for looking HM. I'm fairly sure that the father had died but then I've read so many stories on here and with no one else seeming to remember it, I can't be 100% sure any more :)
Even cmsix wrote a story - or two - along those lines, some were even completed. I had a quick look through his index but nothing really rang any bells.
Thanks Dinsdale, I did go back and read a couple of chapters of "I Feel Lucky", just in case I was remembering wrong, but it wasn't that. I'll have a quick look through some of the others and see if I missed something.
Cheers,
That was the one! I don't know why I skipped over that one in my library, it's actually in the description as well. Having a Senior Moment..
Cheers,
