Details may be a bit muddled. What I recall:
MC and his girlfriend are backpacking across New England or maybe Upstate NY, and in a town they meet an underage runaway girl who they take in and becomes their secondary girlfriend.
I have the vague impression this is from a Lazlo Z story, but scrolling through story descriptions, nothing rings a bell. Anyone have an idea what story I'm thinking of?
