Forum: Lost Stories

I'm looking for one that is pretty old. It was set on an island in the Pacific Northwest. Cannot remember what the set up was, but just remember the guy had prepared this island for isolation. I thought perhaps it was Al Steiner, but looked through all his stories and didn't see anything like that. Any help would be appreciated.
