I just remember a scene. the main char. has superpowers. The main char. is in a bus (i think students/highschool) to or from a trip/sporting event. The bus comes up to an accident and the main char. tears i think the door from the crashed car to save a person.

Yep. MC is thrown from a crashing bus,uses his control of electricity to cut it open and rescue trapped students.
