I read a story that was like Emperors Bodyguard but CRS has hit again. What I remember is the MC retired and give a farm. A reporter was looking in to people who were in the military that just kind of disappeared. they were the bodyguard. I want to say the reason he retired was because of the emperors daughter.

edit: The name I was thinking of was Retired but Alive. It's not the one - no reporters in it. There a a few more stories rattling around the brain cells - I'll have to think more.
I want to that everyone who replied and the 3 emails I got it was Retired by brootforce. It's no wonder I could not find or remember as I has been a long time I went to the site it is on.
