A while back I read a story about a teenage girl who had some sort of mind reading/control ability and was in contact with someone the government who kept trying to convince/force her to work for the government. I believe that in her last communication with the person references the Alan Parsons Project song Eye In The Sky.

I listened to the Alan Parsons Project a lot when I was a kid. I always felt like I was the only one who listened to them - everyone else was talking about Rush, or Def Leppard, or whatever.
It's always kind of neat to see someone else mention them or remember them. But this is a two-fer - the author references them, and you remembered it!

I can relate, had the same feeling when I was younger. I've been to several live concerts. Luckily my brothers were on the same page so I didn't have to go alone but others my age had no idea.
