I recently found a bookmark to "Chosen" by G Younger, and I'm trying to remember anything about it. Its been removed from this site, and I didn't find it on the author's site either.
Can anyone tell me what it's about? Does it have a new title or something?

why not just send him a message asking him about it. I think it may be one where he changed the title, but I'm not sure.
It was removed, not renamed.
It is about two families of witches. In one, the females have the power and are white witches. In the other the males have the power and it is very definitely for evil, in addition they have been cursed since the New England witch trials, the curse taking the form that they only have male children and that the mothers die in childbirth.
Dark? That's the starting point and it was the winning entry in a Halloween competition.

Weird that historical winning places change just because a story is removed. You would expect the listing to remain even if the story itself is no longer accessible.
I understand the (technical) reason, but it feels 'not right' to me.

IIRC, the author has to agree his story is available for some (5?) years. If (s)he removes the story earlier the story gets disqualified and same as in sports the entry gets removed from the winners list.
Seems fair to me, because an author who doesn't agree to the minimum availability cant participate and be listed.
