I apologize for posting a movie search, but I can't remember the name of this movie and it is driving me crazy.
The setting is a British code breaking unit, circa late 60s early 70s. Headed by a totally focused man that one of his subordinates falls in love with. They have an affair and she gets pregnant, but doesn't tell him. During this time the Soviets launch a new satellite that they can't decode the telemetry from. He finds out about his child and goes to see her. While he is playing with the baby's rattle he realizes how to break the code. I don't remember how it comes out, and it's one of those things juat keep nagging at you. Thanks for your forebearance and assistance.
