That part is definitely missing - he was a building contractor at the start of the trilogy.
At least the "reborn as a teen" part matches.
OMWaP's story has the MC on a clandestine night drop when a traitor tears off his oxy as he's going off the ramp. Thats one death, he recycles several times, with different death dates and 'waking up' at different times in his life, including at birth.
The story is very rambling, much like an old guy telling tall tales, sitting on his porch with the neighbors kids. I enjoyed it. Its not a sex story, so it suits my tastes.
Ending up as a baby is an intriguing idea and I look forward to reading this story whatever it is.
