I don't think that is the one, but its definitely worth reading. The crash in this story occurs in Canada's rocky mountain range I think (not sure what that mountain range was called).
edited to add: Reason its incomplete and inactive is the author died or something. One of many writers we have lost over the years.

Also consider that some of those are well worth reading even if incomplete and inactive. The way they fire up the imagination can be great.

You beat me to that comment. No doubt everyone has an example of an incomplete story which should not be deleted - my suggestion is the Defenceman/Dman series

Doc by Kingkey was reactivated after 2 years 3 months or so. It has had several long breaks, having been started in 2010. I think it is another good example of why that policy is likely not to be implemented.
I believe if you have a premier subscription you can "exclude" inactive stories in the SOL search engine.

Yes, if you have a premier subscription you can do all kinds of extra things with the category search. One of those things is excluding inactive/incomplete stories.
However, there are many incomplete/inactive stories that many people think are worth reading, which is why redlion75's request will never be implemented.
Never is a long time. But I hope you are right. Some of the incomplete stories are abandoned by the author for his own reasons. But when authors die or become unable to write due to illness, it seems to me their work, their stories, should live on.
