Hopefully someone can help me. I read a story a while back about a guy who takes a girl to prom, they have sex and then he doesn't see her for years. When he does he finds out she had his kid.

Not a prom but halloween in Witch Eyes by Argon. You might enjoy it even if it isn't the one you were thinking of.
FS version is 4k longer (125k vs. 129k). I read SOL version about 3-4 years back and it was a completed story. One may just be a newer edit with different chapter breaks. I seem to remember Argon making revisions to several stories in the last year or two.
Could it be The Pond by Ellagon/ sir winston (can't remember what he goes by now a days) as that's the only story that popped to mind from your description?
Sounds like Brandt family series
"Bobby and Patty are a young high school couple in love. The centerpiece of their relationship is a bright red 1965 Chevrolet Corvair Monza convertible. It was on the day that he first drove his car to school to start his junior year that he also met Patty for the first time.
From classmates, to boyfriend and girlfriend, then finally to lovers, their lives and love became increasingly entwined. Months of sensual teasing and testing of their joint limitations lead to them eventually making love for the first time on the Easter Sunday of their senior year. As the mutual sexual exploration continued, their love and devotion to each other grew even stronger."
Now if memory serves me right, the gf and her family are moved by vitsec and she is pregnant and later on he finds her and his son of who he knew nothing.

Holy shit, the Brandt series looks great, can't believe none of those we're ever recommended to me.
Even after re-reading them several times, they just don't have that something that makes it special. But i do go back to them like many others after i've forgotten enough of the story to find them interesting enough.
Yeah i just read them all and the only one i really liked was the first one in the series.
Have you looked at Spirit Renewed by Heathen 57? A rock star is feeling the stress of the road and feels like he is losing the spirit of his music. Through a series of events, he once again finds his center and another surprise. He and GF and band played at prom.
RLFJ's do over A Frsh Start has the MC knocking up his high school GF, he doesn't find out until 30 plus years later when he's a politician and the GF is dead. No prom though.
Also not exactly the story you're looking for, but Obligations by Denham Forrest fits the theme and was a fun read. I do heartily recommend the Brandt series also. The only one I felt was weak was the most recent one. I really liked all the others.
