It starts out with the crew, maybe nine total,being told they're lost in space, they find derelict ship, board it and think it's haunted because of a doll that keep showing up. Sounds like the kind of story Gina Marie Wylie would write, but I don't recall that exact premise.
It sounds a little like Project:Prometheus by C.H.Darkstrider, but only a little. You may enjoy it anyway, it's a good story.

Yeah, I know that from a GMW story. I don't think it was Hannah Sawyer, but I think it was in that universe...
I read the stories in that universe - at least the ones before the site lost its logins - and there have been several plot points mentioned which are alien to GMW's Fan universe.

I remember 4 friends cave diving and one of them finds the spaceship buried in a mountain.
The ship hurtled back in time while fighting alien invaders.
And the Brain's of the ship was a hologram.

I believe the story was multi series and the girl was sentenced to be part of the ships computer system. It was even setup to prevent her removal from the system.
But no clue if who wrote it or the name, but think is was a 3 parts and the new captain had to get stabbed in the hand to take over the ship
