Lawman assists brother and sister to locate father using amap
was the father originally from the uk? divorced cheating wife and kids come looking for him when they reach legal age? brother is in league with bad guys? Silver Springs comes to my mind but a search reveals no such title,,
I'm looking thru "westerns" to see if something comes up,,,
Just finished going thru the "western" tag and nothing tweaked my memory,,,
If the story is the one I think it is it's a western and the father is living in a hidden canyon. The girl wants to see her father, the brother is only after the money.
edit to add: The daughter and son are from England.
that sounds like the one I am thinking of as well but I didn't get any memory "tweak" when I went through the "western" tag...
I've a feeling it's by one of my favourite western authors like Matt Helm, aubie 56, or JRyter, so I'm checking my various library lists.
Found it, I think - originally called Yondering by JRyter now called trails west

ya beat me by 2 minutes! lol that's the one I was thinking about...couldn't recognize it by the description,,,
daughter and son from Ireland not england,,,my bad,,,they come into the story in ch3
ayep and Pa is holed up in Silver Moon Canyon.
I could almost quote from the story but couldn't name it, at first.
I have to spend less time on this forum. I keep running into stories I have to re-read resulting in not getting to my 'not read yet' stories list! :)
I don't have that problem as I'm not following many stories right and don't have a "not read yet" list :(
Most of my reading now is "reread for the umpteenth time" and this forum is excellent for finding forgotten ones :D

It's not the following of stories that are posted right now, it's the completed stories I have downloaded that I still have to read. I don't download what I don't intent to read but the list is getting longer. I'm not complaining, it's a good thing.
