I started reading a post apocalyptic story a year or so ago.
It was about how most (if not all) men suddenly disappeared. Except for one. He and his girl head for the country where they meet another girl.

I can't remember the name of it, but if it's the one I'm thinking of it's a dead story. Was it the one where the guy finds out his neighbor had a crush on him and they wind up traveling out to her aunt and uncle's farm where they wind up finding the teenage neighbor?
That turned out to be an alien problem, didn't it?
I can remember another story with a similar starting premise but the trio found themselves not far from a monastery and it headed down a quasi-religious route.

It could be the story Vanished by the author foxer17.
It used to be on here, but the author removed it.
Also removed were all the profiles I knew of beside SOL (Lit, Patreon).
Oh good I'm not going senile, I looked for Vanished on both here and Lit and couldn't find it. IIRC the author posted about 9 chapters, then created a Patreon account despite a lifetime count of 0 completed works and seemed to be a bit perturbed a bunch of people weren't rushing to donate and eventually stopped publishing the story.
