family of 4, single mom with 3 teen children 2 girls and 1 son.children are sent to move the horses from pasture to the next.during the move kids do what kids do after mom shows up she let's them know they ain't the 1st in the family

Sorry I can't remember the story or author but this reminds of a similar story by an author that also wrote a story where the main character was a pastor's son and he got with his mom and sister. And now I want to re-read but like I said I can't remember who wrote it the only other clue that I remember that stands out is the fact that the pastor's son story had a very similar twin story by another author(think like the movies deep impact and Armageddon, dantes peak and volcano, antz and a bugs life) but it veered off in a different direction after the similar starting premise.

Wouldn't you know it, just after posting the authors name poped in mind. Would what you're looking for be Family Evolution by Cokeman? I know he used to have his stories here but can't find bin now (leaving aside that my library got deleted when financial woes left me to down grade to a free account too long so maybe still here under a different pen name). Now just have to remember the twin pastor son story lol!
