Looking for a story so lost a while back, must be getting old now.
Guy wanted to get the girl who in this case was not human, he got some pheromones to try and seduce her slowly over a long period but she knew from day one and let it happen anyways.
Wasn't an especially long story if I recall.

I recall one a couple of years back where a guy's friend helped him add subliminal messages beneath music to try to get the feline female. I'm not sure if that's the story you're looking for, but I unfortunately can't recall the name/author.
ETA: The subliminal message story is "Meer Kass" by BlackShanglan. It has a similar plot, though, as noted, it has nothing to do with pheromones. Hope you find the story you want.
