Ive read this story some time ago, it was based on another story( I will give description of both).
1. MC somehow managed to free some ancient spirit/alien that in return gave him allmighty power only limited by range and that he was not allowed to murder people( or just cause genocide). Story started with him trying to use his new power on cousin I think. - while Im looking for this story too what Im looking for more is story based around similar premises, description below.
2. MC is middle aged guy, for some reason(dont remember it) he put his laptop in a cave which allowed spirit/alien to get out(melting laptopt in process), as thanks he gave MC same kind of power as above but not limited in range, he also gave him some kind of helper to control that power in easier way(helper as in a voice in a head). One of the things that MC did in a story was creating alternative universe where he was considered a god by tribal people.

If anybody has any recommendations for similiar stories/stories with power like that I would be grateful. Either way thanks for helping
