years ago, I read a story where the prime char. travirses time "back" to the early 1800;s to a platation called something *Wind* .. I think I remember it being along the Mississippi, and something about a Patterson pistol... can some one help me locate it on SoL ??
According to Whackypedia the first Colt Paterson was patented in 1836, that should help because Patterson looks to be a misspelling - albeit a very common one.
This comes up every now and then - The story Winds by H2O was withdrawn as he wanted to publish it, and it's gone into hiding since then. The thread below mentions more about it.
