I found this book in a used book store when I was still a teen.
The premise is that a young man is infatuated with a teen girl (cheerleader?) who dresses very provocatively for the time. Given a chance to give her a ride home, he proceeds to express his feelings for her and ends up raping her in the car. During the trial, his defense lawyer uses a life-sized photo of the girl dressed as she was when raped. The guy is acquitted, iirc.
A google search on the keywords turns up so many hits that it is overwhelming. Anyone else read this or remember the stink it raised?
