Boy and girl grow up together as just friends whose parents are best friends. She comes home to her boyfriend or fiance cheating on her and moves in with the boy. He winds up falling in love with her and later comforts her as her dad is dying of cancer. She lashes out at him after he dies and he winds up saving her life when a tree house crashes down and winds up in the hospital because of it. She then falls in love with him while taking care of him, yada, yada, yada, they marry and wind up happily ever after.
