Forum: Lost Stories

Easy one

My kindle died on me recently and I lost my library and I don't want to trawl through my Calibre library.

Looking for what I'm sure is a very well known do-over or coming of age where the the protagonist gets involved in erotic photography at school and then goes to Washington (probably a politician). Is involved in opening a private members club there.

Possibly "Hindsight 20/20" by SmokinDriver.

Yep.

Many thanks - I'm getting to the age where 'senior moments' aren't quite moments anymore!

And on the topic of stories involving photographers - I vaguely remember a story of a guy with a studio on an island? Has a female assistant that starts off platonically.

Probably not. No photography studio on Freehold that I recall, and I've read the story 3 or 4 times.

Do you have to buy another Kindle to recover it - or is it gone forever?

I use Kindle for PC on my desktop computer. My wife uses the Kindle app on her Samsung tablet. I also have the Kindle app on my Samsung smartphone. Since we only have a single Amazon account, all of our combined library of Kindle books are accessible from any of the three devices. Downloading and installing the Kindle for PC app or smartphone app should allow access to his library without having to buy a new Kindle tablet right away.

So what you are saying is that you had stories/books on your Kindle that were not in your Amazon Kindle library.
