I have been searching for a story I read years ago.The only scene I'm sure of is a boat finds an overturned boat and rescue a family. The girl stays with the rescuers while her family travels ahead. Her family is killed when a bridge collapses.
The rescue ship may have had a harem thing going but I may be confusing that with Dual Writer's Family Friend series. I just reread I just reread Family Friends but their many sea rescues did not include that particular one.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
