Heroine is a young PhD Teaching Assistant working on a lab project with two post graduate PhD candidates. They have a tenured curmudgeon as their department head, infamous for "borrowing" the credit for his underling's creations. I've been looking for a while, no success re-locating it. Thanks
It certainly sounds like it. If so, you'll have to look on Amazon under Gina Marie Wylie (otherwise you'll end up with books by Sophie Kinsella etc). It was previously available here and at her site 'Beyond the Far Horizon', but they were removed after it went to Amazon. There's a whole raft of books in the same 'Universe', that follow after it.
