Looking for an incomplete story I haven't seen updated recently. It is a sci-fi story where the soldier is in for life for murder and has lived fighting aliens for a long time. He also uses an axe in combat. Any help would be appreciated.

Inactive, not abandoned yet.
When author does not post a singe letter for more than a year, there is little hope to see something more form him/her :(
(I didn't said that there is no hope at all!)

Last activity 7/27/2015. If you look at his posting history, it is clear that the time between new chapter posts was gradually getting farther & farther apart. That suggests to me that he may have had health problems. If I'm correct, those problems may have caught up with him.
The other possibility is that he reached a dead end and could not see a clear path for his character's future. He had blogged earlier that the story was originally intended to be a series of short stories.
I'm inclined to think it was the author's health at issue.
I have just read this story and it has been 2 years since the last update i hope that we see more
I sent the author an email asking them what the state of play was with the story and asked them to add more... we can only hope that they continue to add more chapters soon
I'm sure if someone were to ask nicely... Lazeez might be able to let us know if Random Writings was at least still longing in an reading on SOL.
Then at least we would know he or she was still around.
