Young man in school (probably high school) has two sisters, both of whom wish to be in a musical. The younger one seems to be winning the role, meaning the older one will not get another chance. He talks to the younger one, who agrees to withdraw so her big sister gets the role. It's been years since I read, so some of this may be remembered incorrectly.
