Raven Soule - Tycoon

dash 🚫

I always wondered how this would have finished, if it had been finished. The editors names have not crossed my reading either. I also wondered what ever happened to the author, though from the last few blog posts I can guess.

worth the read even if it is incomplete. So was May the Best Man Win & You think you've got problems?

I keep checking to see if he has continued but nothing has appeared for over 2 years so I think he has probably passed.

He has recurring bouts of cancer, and still posts occasionally on his blog, so is possibly still with us and the story may one day be finished.

Hey Dash,

I happened to see your name listed as an author credit on Tycoon. Any chance you will be picking up where RS left off?

Finishing Tycoon

...
To my surprise, mine was the version Raven liked best (apparently a couple of others also offered samples) and I was given the approval to finish the story, following the storyboard supplied.

...
The next issue came up when I realize that the storyboard called for the creation of a second entire book, with the first ending in a cliff hanger, with 2 key points unresolved. A second book simply was something I had no interest in committing to.

Ahhh, thanks Zellus!

Interesting I had tried to do an author search on Dash, but nothing turned up.

If open the Tycoon on Raven Soule stories pages a link for him show at the bottom of the page. The only story listed under him is Tycoon, but he does not appear to show up in the author pages.

Radagast 🚫

If you read his last blog post, one of his kids was killed while in service. That was right before mass lunacy broke out. (Covid, mass unemployment, rioting, societal shut downs etc.) Some authors started writing to keep their heads out of the real world mess, others stopped or slowed down as life got to them. I'm guessing Dash is in the second group. I'm not expecting anything from him at this point.

So, Dash is dashing for the exit? (SOL, not life—hopefully)
