Read a short story on here years ago. About a boy who is in a wheelchair and finds his.relatives old songs like the trucker songs from the 60s and 70s. He is a bit rebellious but the so he turn his life around. It ends with him rolling onto a stage where the seating is so full there isn't even standing room. His mic is a custom made one in the shape of a CB microphone. He says breaker 19 this here's the rubber duck. Please help me find it.

The only result in my archive with those lyrics was in chapter 15 of Shadow of my Father, over at asstr, but that's a 3MB story... There is no wheelchair in that chapter, but there are wheelchairs in the story.
So not sure if that's it.

i remember this story. kid in the wheelchair always got on his fathers CB raido and talked to truckers. it was told from the point of one of the drivers. his father had died in an accident, and mother was having hard times. he made his plea for help over the radio and and our narrating driver stopped to help and more and more showed up. there was no sex in the short story(one page) if i remeber right.

The story seems to be based on the song 'Teddy Bear' by Red Sovine. Maybe something in one of Jake Rivers' invitationals?

Definitely sounds like "Teddy Bear". I still like to listen to it on you-tube.
I like the old trucker songs: Giddy-up Go, Phantom 309, Tombstone Every Mile, Give Me 40 acres, I'm a Truck, Six Days on the Road.
Then there are the CB songs: Convoy, CB Savage, White Night, Shirley and Squirly, and Teddy Bear.
Of course, there are so many others I haven't mentioned. Maybe we need to have a 'Trucking/CB' Invitational. :)
