See if anybody can find this!
Father(CEO), mistress, daughter and young male on private plane. Father flying crashes into mountain, father and mistress die. Daughter and guy escape and haul out survival gear and setup camp, personnel interaction etc etc. No one can find them or plane! Young girl miles away sees signal fire on side of mountain and tells grandfather,resulting in rescue! Daughter and young male marry in Canada and are secreted into States and into hiding until bad guys trying to takeover father's company are subdued etc etc. Does any of this sound familiar??

4041 it is part of the story where, along with the nanny and baby, they going into hiding in the "Hobbit Hole" with Don and the girls he'd had dreams about. The story is unfinished but enjoyable.

edited to add: It was originally a separate story, but he merged it along with a few others. I think he originally planned to add on to it. But I am unsure of his actual plans.

The story you described was Making Sara Smile by Celtic Cowboy. He ncorporated it in When Dreams Come True cited above. Making Sara Smile was removed.

It's good reading reading even if the major opus is incomplete.
