Protagonist is a teen boy who is kept hidden in a library in the lowest floor. The lady who takes care of the boy helps him get out of the library. He can do magic by thinking. A big mage is trying to kill him. That is how the story starts. What is the title of the story?
Thanks for that link, and thanks @crazyluffy for asking about this. I just read it, and it really is a good story so far. Very much an anti-hero, just a little too successful for a first-person novel in this mode. But I've definitely got IliaVolyova in my Favorites list now to watch for more stories.
