I am two thirds through Book 1. Currently where they fight the crystaline enemies. .... I am seriously confused what happened with titan, earth's revenge and scythe. Why the fuck were they not communicating? Why did they crash into another? why were the prisoners allowed to be on the ship and how did they overwhelm the boarding party?
This whole scene boggles my mind and it isn't addressed in several chapters. I am still on the story with Atlantis and the crystals.
Also, the story lacks emotional impact from the characters. Except for the first chapter they show no real emotions regarding the things that happened. Only 500 Humans are left alive in the galaxy and no one bats an eye.

He finds an alien base behind his house? Starts a school on the moon? Ends up creating new drive system for spaceships? Protects Earth and other planets? If that's the one, I just read it not long ago but danged if I can remember the title. Maybe that additional information will help someone else remember.
