I'm looking for a story written by someone with a female nick (I think "Jane something, but I'm not sure I'm remembering correctly), which used the idea of successive universes one within the other. For instance, a whole complete level of existence residing at the level of reality evidenced in a microscope, and once you somehow reduced down to size to fit, you'd find another layer even smaller existing within that layer, and so on. It was fascinating, and inspired me greatly, but I didn't keep track of it and the title has slipped my mind. Thanks for any help locating the story.
