Story is unfinished. Union captain burns a southern house, feels bad. Musters out goes back to NYC again a banker. Gets pushed out, thinks wife is spoiled bitch. Leaves. Heads south on a quest. Along the way befriends a couple of black children, an indentured girl, a warhorse, an old lady and an ex-rebel captain.
I thought maybe Jay Zcantrell write it, but he says no. Any ideas?
