I read a story a while back regarding a guy who witnesses a car accident and ends up the nanny/protector/lover to a family. He turns out to be ex-military and there is a quarantine on the town for some reason. There is a slight paranormal twist as the girls see auras and he is ?blue/purple? or something. It was a long multi chapter story and I can't seem to find it again.
I remember something vaguely similar although I'm not sure about the quarantine or the military aspects. The protagonist couldn't see auras but the girls could. Please let us know if you find it as I'd like to know whether we're thinking of the same story.

I believe we are AJ. The girls see his aura as a protector/caregiver and end up lover. The military part is him being referred to as the scrounge for his team... And the quarantine part had something to do with the water i believe.

"A zombie story" would have been a handy thing to list, as it seems more pertinent than the other story details.
Crumbly, go to the top and read the inquiry. No where does malbywax1 mention zombies or I would have included that in the search. All I can do is play it as I see it, or as malbywax1 remembered it.

Sorry, you misunderstood. I wasn't directing the comment at you, but at malbywax1, the original poster. I only quoted you because I was responding to what you found.
For the link, you can usually simply copy a link (from SOL) and copy it into the forum post. The submission wizard should handle the formatting for you, but it's basically an html < a ref=""> command (for those of us familiar with html, which I wouldn't expect everyone to know).

That is fairly simple although most don't think of doing it. open link in a different tab/window. Highlight the address bar and right click it. Select the copy option. Now go to the window where you are writing the message for posting. In an empty space right click and select paste as the option. It should insert the address for the link. When I do that I usually identify the site being linked to since some of those darn addresses are not obvious in what is being linked.
As that world renowned former Texas governor once said, and will undoubtedly say again, "Opps".
