To add a bit more the mc was running a trail in his neighborhood at the beginning the story. there are also swords that bond and communicate with there new owner later in the story

No swords in the "New Federation" series, so it's not what you're looking for.
That and IIRC, they found that one while spelunking through some cave systems and having their own accident.

Little of topic - oldest writing of this type (somebody finds alien technology/space ship...) that I have found and read is from Friedrich Hecht (a.k.a. Manfred Langrenus) with title in german language "Reich im Mond" (or "the State on the Moon")from year 1955.

There's also the 'time traders" series by Andre Norton from 1958 or so, where the various characters and governments (there's a strong "good guys vs reds" element) find derelict spaceships, and complications ensue.
They're among the very first science fiction novels I read, and I was surprised to learn she ("Andre" is a woman) was still around at least 10 or 15 years ago revising them. UPDATE: She died in 2005.

Not really. No buried spacecraft. Nobody falls down a hole. No dead aliens on Mars. No abandoned moon base...
If only I can remember the name. Sounds like the same story I asked for help awhile ago. He was a descendant of Zeus who were fleeing a war and crashed on the moon. He could awaken the AI since he has genetic marker from Zeus. The story is no longer on here but I was directed to ASSM where it was in someone's favorite folder. I hope who ever gave me the link sees this and can repost the link.

It wasn't the pushing of his website that got him banned, but how he did it. He'd post a part story at SoL and then direct people to his website for the full story. In short, he was running a bait and switch operation on SoL. If he posted the full story at SoL at the same time as he does it on his website he'd have been in the clear, it was the failure to post the full story that was wrong (edit to add) that's the policy violation.
