Story about a teen genius and bad guys trying to kill him.
Story starts with teen working in a lab with a large magnetic gyroscope and a high power laser. While working inside the gyroscope, bad guy turns it on and also the laser to fry the teen. Instead of dying the teen is instead out of phase with the world/invisible.
The MC then finds out he can phase though doors/walls and slip back in time.
The MC's sister wants the same power so does the experiment on her also. They find land where they can hide the gyroscope and laser from the bad guys.
