Not quite what you are asking but Magic Ink 1 has the MC reforging a broken magic sword. Closer, I can't remember the title, MC forges a sword from a demon's horn. It is the first story in a universe. Another story in the universe is 'White Feather' I think. Did a search for that name but no results.
