Sorry to hear about you being blind.
I did enjoy reading your stories and will be reading them again.
Just out of curiosity, which software are you using, as some are much better than others (I've worked with the blind for many years in the Lion's Club, which is dedicated to working with the Blind since Helen Keller first sought their support). It's also why any illustrations in my stories have visual descriptions for said readers to automatically recite.
I was also blind myself for a short period (Diabetic Retinopathy, which caused bleeding within the eyes). I recovered from it, yet I have limited vision in one eye (the blood blocked the eye's normal access, raising the pressure in the eye to dangerous levels), making changing lanes in traffic problematic.
I can kind of relate. My right eye crossed, I assume at birth or soon after. I don't know if I was born that way or it happened very early in my life. Either way, I had surgery to straighten it, but my brain never developed the necessary connections to recognize words and fine detail. I hope that if I ever lose the sight in my left eye my brain will step up and finish the process of using that eye properly.
Sorry to hear about your sight. Your stories are some of my favorite, wishing you the best.
