teeagerb finds he can travel through time later in life he goes back to revolutionary war and watches a soldier die then goes to the same spot in his time and collects the soldiers sword and other items he researches the name Avery Smythe and finds relatives alive in england so he decides to return the items to the family and winds becoming friends with them then in a later book he discovers a hiding place he calls the inbetween where time stops and put anything in there just by touching and he uses this power to hijack the crown jewels when gets lost while kings guards try crossing a river.
