I am looking for a story that seems to have slipped my memory. It was about a young g man who joined the army, served in an airborne unit. Got out and became a paramedic. When 9/11 happened he rejoined as a medical. He served, was injured and was discharged.
Does anyone know the story?

Or was that just a typo?

If I am guessing the series correctly, it consisted of three volumes. The series was removed from SOL and currently being reposted on the sister site - Storyroom.
Everyone else who has answered you here is quite right... "A Charmed Life" has all the chapters scheduled for posting through the beginning of December, and the series will move on to "A Glass, and Darkly." (I have the first chapter scheduled, but I have to wait until that one posts before I can schedule the rest...)
