I have lost a story about a character named Jeff Knox who plays soccer, baseball and hockey at school, then joins the army after graduation. He serves in Panama and Desert Storm as a paratrooper then leaves the army and trains to be an EMT. I think there may have been at least one, maybe two sequels. He becomes a paramedic and rejoins the army as a medic after 9/11
@AmigaClone is right, in that I'm trying to repost my stories on StoryRoom now. (All chapters of "A Charmed Life" are scheduled, but not any other stories that are more than a single chapter, since you can't schedule anything else until the first chapter is up... unless I'm doing it wrong...)

'A charmed Life' and 'A Glass and Darkly' are about Jeff, and 'Sabrina' is a really good story about his daughter.
There are several hidden gems in the Story Room. After you've finished enjoying the Knox Family, try The Dance by Rooftop Herald. One of my grandsons has just finished The Knoxes. He said he fell in love with Sabrina. He has now started The Dance. I expect him to fall in love with Paige, too.

No, Laz and his team have been more than supportive over the years, so I'm not totally radio silent.
Since the URLs here have changed, that's helped. The main difficulty is, like I've said, my muse has run away, screaming, and is likely quivering in some dark corner somewhere...
I'm hoping she's starting to poke her head out... I just gotta be patient...
