Guy goes back to his childhood. There are three sister neighbors and he marries one. He "invents" a car with all kinds of futuristic features, his wife is killed by North Korea, I think the wife's name was Jael, and her sisters names started with J also. Hmmm, his mom marries his patent lawyer, his new step-sister ultimately become the US president.
All I can think is John the Genius but that is a different story altogether.
