Opera With Aliens

limab ๐Ÿšซ

I remember a story with a male opera singer who had promise but never managed to fulfill his potential, he hung in and did minor roles. He found an injured cat(?) that turned out to be an alien. He had to do surgery to keep it alive(directed by the alien). In payment the alien corrected his technique and he became GOOD. A top female singer wanted to do an opera with him and they trained together. I remember something about a rescue beacon for the alien, and I think there were government agents trying to find the alien.

There are other bits an pieces but nothing I am sure of. No opera names come to mind although at least two were mentioned. I believe it is at least 8 years od but I am not sure.

Thanks, limab

Description: Second-rate opera singer Nick Volker is having a bad day, until he finds a stray cat. Almost immediately his life begins to change, dramatically. And then even more dramatically. I was just having some fun yanking everyone's chain a little. But it was in reference to his listing his response as "2 - Castaway. I just thought it was mildly amusing, not intending anything else other than a quick chuckle. Yet not everyone gets my humor, as I explained, I can't be humorous to save my lie, so I instead rely on 'wit' and clever plays on words. Which oddly enough, fits my stories perfectly.

Who'd a thunk? ;)
