Apologies if this question has been asked elswhere in the forum, but I couldn't find anything when I searched using "Search Forum Posts".
I came across stories posted by Mac the Knife in 2005 & 2013/14 some of which I realise I had previously read. Murder Is I had not read and found it very enjoyable but not completed :-(; along with a few others.
The author does not have a blog,so I was wondering if anyone had any information about him/her

This is from memory: Allegedly he wrote himself into a corner with Murder Isle and withdrew (initially) until he could sort things out, they proved unsortable.
Years later he posted a short story and the first chapter of another story here, but my guess is that he received a load of "please continue Murder Isle" mails and gave up.
As an aside, there is someone who occasionally posts to the forum as "mack the knife". I asked him and he said he is not the author of the same name.
Not sure how that is possible, but maybe it's an upper/lower case thing.
