The story I'm looking for was titled something like The Losers Trophy or similar by the author named Zanzibar or something like that.
The story was about a highschool age guy who wins at football (game/season/tournament) that he gets a trophy but another guy from a rival team/school or just a rival on his own team gets pissed cause someone else dared be better or just took the spotlight from him so he goes about coercing/black mailing the mc mom into sexual situations getting progressively worse and showing at first to the mc via flash drives with video but last I saw actually involving him with his mother and all along getting more blackmail material and involving more and more people.
It is not my normal type of read since the whole writing style of the author is to degrade and demean the females that are the victims with zero redeeming qualities for most of the cast as far as I could recall from the descriptors for his other stories which several were star trek fan fiction if I remember correctly.
Its like the old saw of a car crash you just can't look away, even though I hated the story it kept popping up to mind occasionally and I would track it down see if it was updated to skim the latest and hope the mc got a good ending.
Was kinda stuck in the sunk cost fallacy deal and hoping the mc woke up cause the author did the sin of forcing the plot forward at all cots, damn the logic and all consequences. Was hoping the mc would very easily take down the bad guys with one phone call as he was literally provided proof/evidence by said bad guys of major crimes like if I remember correctly child porn, rape, drugging and blackmail.
I can't even remember if the sex scenes were at least good or not for the bits I did read since like said I skimmed after the first bit with the video of mc mom which kinda made no sense in itself as it seemed to take place long before the trophy bit so not even a revenge type thing from the bad guy but I could just be misremembering since I didn't really read the story properly.
Anyway the story itself I haven't seen hide nor hair of in a while and it just popped up to mind but when I tried looking for it just now I got nothing and ditto for the author name. Anyone know if they got deleted or if I'm super off base with the title and author but recognize the story from the info I provided?
